Festival MAR d’Estiu
The festival offers a true commitment to the environment by opting for minimal footprint, waste recycling and non-polluting ecological transport as the first option, among other initiatives. The concerts will end at 11 p.m. in order to combine leisure and rest for residents.
The new Mar d’Estiu festival is the bet of the municipalities of Santa Susanna and Pineda de Mar, to fill the evenings of Maresme with the best musical proposals. This new project full of enthusiasm is led by the Barcelona promoter TheProject and is born to become a real reference.
The call includes more than 10 concert proposals for all tastes, which will take place in the Torrentó de Can Gelat (NII) in Santa Susanna.
The festival will take place during the first half of August and will also have a Village space for small performances. It will include a program with 100% Catalan, emerging proposals and with women’s voices. There will also be a space for gastronomy and local products. The poster will revolve around big names with established artistic trajectories, paying particular attention to the Catalan scene.
The hilarious Ojete Calor will open the series on August 3, giving way to a lineup that will feature a handful of big names like Luz Casal, Ara Malikian, Sopa de Cabra and Los Secretos. Renowned artists such as Malú, who will revisit his best songs live, the beloved Sergio Dalma and Juan Magán, with their Latin dance hits, are also part of this prestigious event. The Gadían Antoñito Molina, in full upward spiral, is an indisputable reality this season, reaching an ever wider audience. The always inspiring God Save The Queen and Rozalén, who will present her new album El Abrazo, will also perform.
The youngest are not left out either, with a program that includes a double concert with two of the most current and popular proposals on the Catalan scene: Mushkaa and The Tyets complete a Mar d’Estiu festival that promises great moments for lovers. of the best live music.
