Policy of responsible tourism at Pineda de Mar township
Aware of the importance to maintain a sustainable touristic development, and assumed the principles and objectives specifically adopted at the World Summit on Sustainable Development 2015, COP 21 and the World Letter of Sustainable Tourism + 20, PINEDA DE MAR City Hall, undertakes to carry out sustainable management and all activities, through the adoption of commitments designed to prevent, eliminate or reduce the impact of our facilities and activities, both internal and external, as well as optimize the sustainability of the establishment to improve its behavior with the entorno, on its beaches and free facilities located on beaches, in particular, those related to the Baby Center and Mini Beach Club.
Our Organization has adopted the following Policy of Responsible Tourism as well, it undertakes to comply with the requirements of adhesion to BIOSPHERE , which, among other things, include the legal requirements ruling the effects generated by tourism activities.
We are also committed to motivate and train our staff on teaching activities and awareness about the principles of Responsible Tourism, to promote good environmental practices in the surroundings, to participate in outside activities, and to inform both internally and externally on progress and environmental performances of the company.
One of our main goals is to improve the sustainable management, assuming commitments of continuous improvements in all sustainability areas: social, economic and environmental, as well as customer satisfaction. To do so, projects of future expansions of facilities or activities shall be subject to criteria of sustainability and efficiency in the use of resources. This policy of responsible tourism will be updated whenever the circumstances require it, adopting and publishing new objectives of sustainability in both cases.
